Hello, folks,
I'm a reltively new player; a bit over a month played and 1 Million'ish SP.
I'm posting under an alt because I'm currently in a corp that I don't think is working out.
They're GREAT folks; very nice and helpful, and I feel guilty considering leaving them, hehehe. So, I'm posting as an alt to Test The Waters so to speak and see if there's any corp out there that's more in line of what I'm looking for, and if not then I'm still where I'm at with no hard/hurt feelings.
The corp I'm in does a bit of everything including PvP and pirating; well some members pirate. They have some 0.0 sovereignty <--SP? a POS and defend their space against neutrals as well as hostiles. This is not the type of atmosphere I enjoy. Plus they go to war which impacts my ability to play casualy including being able to sort of only pay partial attention at times when mining or traveling. All their big mining ops take place in 0.0 where I have no real interest in going.
AND, they're mostly GMT time based and thus there are not many of them on when I am 
Again, a FANTASTIC group of friendly, helpful folks, but just not a good fit for me.
What I'm looking for is a corp that operates in high sec space, doesn't get involved in wars, and doesn't promote pirating or even killing off neutrals.
I'm also about as casual as they come only able to play 6 or so hours a WEEK And even then it's one hour per night except on weekend nights.
I'd also like a more GMT -5 timezone oriented Corp, that's Eastern Standard/Daylight Time.
I'm hoping to find a corp that runs mining ops in high, (safe), sec space that I can be a part of.
Due to my limited play time I acknowledge that I can't contribute a whole lot to a corp, and thus I don't ask for anything in return other than friends with whom to talk, the occasional mining op here and there, and guidance/advice for progressing my character and ships.
I've got my own equipped cruiser for mining, a ship for running combat missions, (which I like to do sometimes for a change of pace), and a hauler for,well, hauling, and I'm working my way up to being an "uber miner" 
Much of what has to do with mining is at lv 4, including Mechanics, Electronics, Engineering, Spaceship Command, Industry, Refining, Mining, Drones, Science, Astrogeology, Navigation, Caldari Cruiser/Frigate, etc, and all learning skills except the charisma ones.
So, any corps out there looking for a young'ish, 1 mil sp, miner wannabe who can't commit a lot of time but doesn't ask for much in return other than friends, mining ops, and guidance? Who operate in high sec space, run mining ops in high sec space, and who don't get involved in wars?
